SUMMARY OF TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Solicitation or Prostitution
 Candy’s doesn’t tolerate prostitution and solicitation, and if you are found to be in
breach of this rule your contract will be cancelled.
Hours of work
Candy’s is open: Mondays to Thursdays 7pm till 4am
Fridays 12 pm (noon) till 4 am.
Saturdays 7pm till 4am
 All dancers are required to work a minimum of five shifts/days per week.
 Your shifts will alternate between 9 hours and 8 hours per shift.
 All dancers are required to work a double shift on Fridays.
 However, a 1/3rd of all dancers will get the Friday afternoon shift off (i.e. every
dancer should get every third Friday off).
 Dancers working a double shift on Friday will get two hours off either between
5pm and 7pm or 7 pm and 9pm.
 Daily shifts start at 1 pm or 7pm/9pm depending on the roster.
 All dancers should be on the floor ready to dance at the commencement of their
shift.
All dancers will work Fridays and management will do everything possible to enable the
dancers to work a split shift i.e. they will get some time off on Fridays in order to reduce
their shift time.
Weekly Levy, Accommodation and Charges
 Accommodation is charged at R250 per week for each dancer per week.
 Candy’s collects R1000.00 per week for levies (and agent fees if applicable).
 Candy’s collects on behalf of the main agent or sub-agents as per contact with
the agents if applicable for a Model/Dancer
 Candy’s also charges small commission on dances/conversations/bookings
performed (commission breakdown & layout to follow)
 Candy’s reserve the right to adjust the minimum weekly levies by giving the
dancer 4 weeks notice.
 All weekly levies and accommodation must be paid before the end of a Saturday
shift regardless of whether a dancer is off on a Saturday night.
 Any dancer who breaks her contract and departs the club before the end of her
shift will be subject to an early departure fine of R1500.
 Any other fines for unruly behaviour or misconduct will be charged at
management’s discretion
 The dancer’s remuneration will be paid weekly to them in cash, at the end of their
shift on Saturday
Sick and no shows
 Any dancer who is sick is required to produce a doctor’s certificate. Dancers are
to remain at home while booked off sick as to avoid contamination or further
injury.
TO FOLLOW IS A BREAKDOWN OF PERFORMANCES AT CANDY’S:
Lap dances R350 (Dancer: R300 Club: R50)
 Lap dances are charged at R350 for three songs.
 Double shows are R450 per dancer for two songs.
 Both are for up to two customers.
 Additional customers are charged at R50 per person.
 Extra songs are also charged at R50 per song per dancer.
 Customers are to keep their hands besides them and are not allowed to touch
dancers.
Table dances R250 (Dancer: R225 Club: R75)
 Table dances are charged at R250 for two songs.
 Extra songs are also charged at R50 per song.
 Only four customers at a time in the dinning booths or tables.
 Customers are too keep their hands besides them and are not allowed to touch
dancers.
Boob dance R550 (Dancer: R425 Club: R125)
 Boob dances are charged at R550 per dancer for 3 songs.
 These dances are for up to two customers in the private booth area.
 An extra R50 per person applies if there are more then 2 people in the booth.
 The maximum customers allowed in a Lounge booth are four.
 Customers are allowed to touch the dancer’s breasts only.
Bachelor or Birthday Humiliation R350 (Dancer: R250 Club: R100)
 This is where you speak to management about taking a gentleman on stage.
You have to speak to the DJ first to organize this.
 This happens as follows: He will receive 6 complimentary shooters (at the
managers discretion) to down on stage in 10 seconds time.
 You have to organize with management and the bar staff for these shooters if
management decides to provide these shooters.
 You will give him a miniature lap dance, take off only your top.
 Remove his clothing, you are not allowed to remove client’s undergarments in
the shower or on stage. Leave his underpants on.
 We are not here to see him, he is here to see us… After this give him a spank
with a belt and put him in the shower.
 Make sure the water is the correct temperature – we can’t afford any accidents.
 Thereafter you will bring the client a towel – do not just walk away and leave him
wet on stage.
Table Conversations R1100 (Dancer: R850 Club: R250)
 Table conversations are charged at R1100 per hour
 These conversations are for up to four customers in the private booth area.
 The maximum customers allowed in a Lounge booth are four.
 Customers will be entitled to be entertained and kept company for an hour in
terms of conversation
Champagne Bookings R1600 (Dancer: R1000 Club: R600)
 Champagne bookings are charged at R1600 per hour.
 These bookings are for up to four customers in the private VIP lounges.
 It will include conversation, lap and boob dances with the customers
 Customers are allowed to touch the dancer’s breasts only
Catwalks
 All dancers must perform at least three catwalks/dance rotations on every shift
worked.
 A stage dance rotation consists either of:
1. A erotic dance/catwalk routine
2. Limited striptease
3. Topless/cage dancing
 On average each catwalk will for the duration of 3 songs.
 The DJ on duty will prepare a roster for the above shows.
Fantasy Show (Main Stage Show)
 Every dancer must have at least 2 themed fantasy outfits and fantasy dances
using their own selection of music that is coordinated and arranged with the DJ.
 Fantasy shows are performed on the hour, every hour, according to the roster
prepared by the DJ.
 A Fantasy Show must consist of 3-4 songs (10 to 15 minutes) and a dancer must
strip completely during her Fantasy Show.
 The show must be sexy and done tastefully like a fantasy.
Rules for main stage shows
 You are not allowed to sit at a table or with a client while a main stage show is
on.
 You must go to the dressing room during this
 However, you are still allowed to do lap dances.
 When the lights dim, there will be 3 songs left for you to do/finish your dances.
 Dancers must not get on the table after this, because they are not allowed on the
table while the show is on.
 5 Minutes prior to the show the lights will dim and you can move to the change
room.
 This is the only time dancers are allowed in the dressing rooms.
 Dancers must be back on the floor directly after the show has finished.
“Intro” Parade
 All dancers are required to be ready for introduction and to walk across the club
floor during the “Intro” parade which occurs at 11.00pm every night.
 All dancers will gather at the dressing room exit and parade onto the floor as their
names are read
 After walking across the floor/stage all dancers must end up on a table or space
onstage and dance erotically for the duration of the song
 It’s usually the duration of one song
“Midnight” Parade
 All dancers are to appear either on the main stage, or at the bar stage or the
cage for the “Midnight” Parade which occurs at 00.00am every night.
 All dancers must gather at the dressing room exit and walk across the stage and
find a space to dance.
 It’s usually the duration of one song
 This can be done topless at the discretion of management
 The DJ will arrange the Parade maybe with shooters.
6 Song Rule
 You are allowed to sit at a table for a period of six (6) songs. After that move to
another table to give the other girls a chance to talk to customers.
Dress Code
 Dancers are required to be dressed elegantly and sexy at all times. Dancers are
required to change outfits at least once during an evening.
Use of Cell Phones
 Dancers are not allowed to use their cell phones at anytime while on duty in the
Club.
 This includes use on the floor, in the change rooms or in the toilets.
Customer Etiquette
 Dancers must always ensure customers are aware of the charges for dances.
 A dancer must never shout at a customer or make a scene in front of other
customers.
 A dancer must not hit or be violent towards a customer.
 A dancer must not walk and smoke at the same time
 A dancer must not get drunk on duty.
 A dancer must not swear at any time.
 A dancer must not sit in the dressing room without a valid reason.
 A dancer must not fight with co-dancers or workers.
Visa charges and permits
 Dancer’s will be charged a VISA/permits application fee of R3000 for all Candy’s
Visa’s issued.
 Dancer’s will be charged a VISA renewal fee of R3000 for all visa extensions
arranged by the club.
Drug policy
 Candy’s will not tolerate drugs or illegal substances on its premises or the taking
of drugs by any of the Club’s dancers or staff.
 Anyone caught with drugs on their possession or taking drugs in the Club will
have their contract terminated immediately.
 In addition, Candy’s will not tolerate the use of drugs at anytime while a dancer is
contracted to Candy’s.
 Dancers will be subject to random drug tests to ensure they are drug free.
Male company in Candy’s accommodation
 Male company is not allowed at accommodation provided by Candy’s under any
circumstances.
Bill and Credit Card payments
 Any payments for dances charged to a customer’s credit card or table bill will be
subject to a 10% processing fee by the club.
 Whenever a customer charges more than R3, 000 to their credit card or bill for
dances, a dancer must immediately settle any outstanding levies or fines
payable.
Holiday Policy
 You get 21 days (3 weeks) leave a year. This includes weekends and days off.
 Please apply 4 weeks before you want to take leave to ensure that it will be
approved.
Dancer names
 Under no circumstances must a stage name, previously used by a dancer, be
used by a new dancer. This applies regardless of whether the dancer is no
longer dancing at Candy’s.
Closing and last rounds
 Last rounds will be called at 3.00 a.m. and the Club lights will be put on at 3.45
a.m. and the Club will close at 4.00 a.m. in terms of our liquor license. The lights
 Should the Club be quiet, the Duty Manager has the sole discretion to call last
rounds at 1.30 a.m. and close the Club at 1.45 a.m.
 All stage dancing must continue until the Club closes.
Drinking on Shift
 Dancers purchasing alcohol from the bar must pay cash. You are not allowed to
run a tab with the barmen or with the waitresses
 If you cannot consume alcohol responsibly and get drunk, Candy’s can ban a
particular dancer from accepting any form of alcoholic beverage.
Promotions and functions
 All the dancers are required to help with promotions and functions from time to
time. This shall include special events held at Candy’s e.g. Rugby Saturdays
which are not included in our normal trading hours and Golf Day promotions.
 All the dancers will participate in any photo shoots at the club for marketing
purposes.
Accommodation
 You are to adhere to the house rules displayed at the Houses.
 The weekly rental, as agreed and notified to your agent, will be paid weekly, in
advance on a Saturday.
Income Tax
 Payment to the Receiver of Revenue of income tax is the responsibility of the
dancer.
 No income tax will be deducted from dancer’s income.
 It is the dancer’s responsibility to keep records of income and expenses.
 Candy’s can assist the dancer with their tax returns if required.
Dancers contracted from overseas
If you are contracted from an agency overseas, the following will also apply:
 You will be working for the period as set out in your contract, if you however want
to extend your contract at Candy’s you can discuss this with Candy’s
Management and they will assist you to extend your visas etc.
 Candy’s provide accommodation for foreign dancers in various apartments in
Port Elizabeth within reasonable proximity to the Club.
 Two dancers stay per room at the agreed rate, per dancer per week.
 Foreign dancers who are lodging at our flats and/ or houses are obliged to use
our accommodation for the duration of their contract.
 The dancer should have enough money to enable the dancer to pay for their
basic living expenditures during their initial stay.
 Candy’s are under no obligation to provide the necessary funds to sustain the
dancer whilst in South Africa.
 The dancer undertakes to have extensive medical insurance cover before
entering South Africa and the dancer indemnifies Candy’s from any medical
related claim.
 Furthermore, the dancer shall, and hereby does, indemnify Candy’s against any
liability, loss, claim, or proceeding whatsoever arising in common law or by
statute, suffered by the dancer and consequent upon any personal injuries to any
person howsoever they arise out of or in the course of or caused by the
execution of the services provided by Candy’s, and agrees that any liability
described above may be set off against monies owing to the dancer via Candy’s.
 Candy’s prepays the airfares of its exotic dancers, and each dancer has to refund
the costs to the club in 6 weeks after commencing the engagement contract. An
economy round trip ticket valid for 6 months would cost between USD 1,300 -
USD 1,600 depending on the airlines and the season.
Candy’s Duties
 Candy’s provide accommodation for foreign dancers.
 Candy’s provide security for the dancers while they work in the club.
 Candy’s Management will be available to help, assist, and advise foreign dancers
in order to make their stay in Port Elizabeth as enjoyable, safe and rewarding as
possible.
 Candy’s provides discounted staff meals, tea and coffee for dancers during their
shift.
Fines System
 Non-compliance with the Club rules and terms and conditions are all subject to
the Club’s standard fines system, a copy of which will be provided at the
commencement of your Contract.
